The 自己紹介 (jikoshoukai), or self introduction, is a very important part of Japanese culture. In fact, it was the very first thing taught to me a student of Japanese.
I have several jikoshoukai depending on the circumstances; some are very simple and to the point, some more professional, some are more personal and extensive.
For practice I thought I would write a jikoshoukai for this blog as alternative “about” page. I invite fellow Japanese language learners and fluent-speakers alike to take a look.
