Welcome to 2020, the Year of the Rat. According to my Chinese horoscope, as a Dragon, 2020 will be a bountiful year for my career and wealth, but my love life and health will be average. I can attest to the latter already, suffering a series of colds already since Christmas!
It’s been an eventful start to the year in world events - military stand-offs, climate disasters and virulent diseases, to name just a handful of the main headlines.
On a more personal note, this year has started like last year finished; with an abundance of urgent projects and frightening deadlines — this explains the lack of writing for the end of 2019, but all you missed was my hot takes on the final Star Wars film (lucky you)and my midnight-viewing experience — I could suppose that this is the cusp of the bounty that my horoscope predicts.
I have a couple of trips coming up in the first half of 2020, so, deadlines permitting, at least you’ll get to see some of my travel pictures.
In the meantime I hope all of you reading this have a good year ahead and that humanity somehow doesn’t manage to destroy itself before we get to go around the sun again.
